Mary is a 2022 board member of Culpeper’s Chamber of Commerce…a gratitude opportunity! She participates in two committees (Business Development and Assistant Council and Women’s LIFT), attends the monthly board meetings and business ribbon cuttings .
This month was so interesting! Culpeper business stories are a delight. The Women’s LIFT committee is planning a special two-day, primarily outdoor event for Culpeper’s ladies in April.
Business Development and Assistant Council hosted Strata Clean Energy who presented on a solar facility they hope to build in Culpeper.
Montague Miller & Co. Realtors have a new home, super interesting historical building, in Culpeper on West Davis St. Their new location ribbon cutting included a lovely lunch and cake from Knakal’s – a Culpeper favorite. Thank you!
The Chamber’s monthly board meeting kicked off at 7:30 on the 22nd including discussions of the proposed Culpeper County State Park, petition of Amazon’s data center, offering health insurance to paid ‘Chamber’, and the ramping up of First Night’s in old town.
State of the Community, virtual, hosted by the Chamber….chock full of information….was held on the 23rd.
Neil and Mary participated in the visit Hansbrough Ridge and Salubria on Monday, March 28. What a gift for Culpeper to have a formal, official State Park! After six long years of effort, Congress holds the keys!
What a resource Culpeper has in our Chamber of Commerce!
Wishing you an April filled with Lavender Love!!
