Seek Lavender Chicken/Turkey Noodle Soup
2 tablespoons butter
½ cup carrots
1.5 cup celery
1.5 cup onion
3 cloves garlic
6 cups chicken (or vegetable) stock
1.5 teaspoons sea salt
1 teaspoon or one of Seek Lavender’s seasoning blends; Herbes de Provence, Italian Seasoning, or Chicken, Fish, Pork & Veggie
.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
6 ounces egg noodles
2 cups diced cooked chicken or turkey
In a large Dutch oven or heavy bottomed pot, melt the butter, and add the carrots, celery and onion and a pinch of salt. Cook over medium heat until slightly soft
Add the garlic, and cook until soft
Add the chicken/vegetable stock, remaining sea salt, chosen Seek Lavender Seasoning Blend, pepper, and bring to a boil
Add egg noodles, and cook until al dente. You may need to add more stock or broth if the noodles absorb too much.
Reduce heat, stir in cooked chicken, and simmer until heated through. Add additional salt and pepper, to taste.
Serve immediately, and top with fresh parsley, if desired
